All County offices shall be open to the public during regular business hours which are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Offices are open over the lunch hour.
Legal holidays when offices at the Courthouse and Administration building are closed are: New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Jr. Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

1st Floor – Veterans Service; Aging & Disability Resource Center; Coroner; County Board Chairman; Human Resources and Maintenance
2nd Floor – County Clerk; County Treasurer; Register of Deeds; Property Lister; Zoning; Land Conservation; UW-Extension and 911 Coordinator.
3rd Floor – Health Department; Child Support and Human Services.
What services do the various offices provide?
County Clerk – Marriage licenses; fishing and hunting licenses; temporary license plates; County Board proceedings; election results and general financial accounts of the County.
County Treasurer – Delinquent real estate and personal taxes.
Real Property Lister – Preparation of Assessment rolls and assists taxpayers with property description problems.
Register of Deeds – Registration of births, deaths and marriages; filing of deeds; mortgages and Veteran’s discharges.
Clerk of Court – Civil cases; judgments; divorce records; alimony and support payments and passports.
Register in Probate – Wills; survivorships; guardianship; trusts; adoptions and other matters pertaining to estates and heirships.
Child Support Agency – Location of absent parents; establishing paternity of non-marital children and enforcement of existing support orders.
Human Services – Financial aid programs; mental health services; alcohol and other drug abuse; developmental disabilities; services to adults, elderly, children and families.
Aging & Disability Resource Center – Help or information pertaining to the elderly.
Highway Department – State or county trunk highway matters and any other matters pertaining to highways or the highway department.
Veterans Office – Veterans benefits such as loans, insurance, compensation, pensions and housing.
Health – Any matters pertaining to health or sanitation.
Sheriff - Any matters pertaining to law enforcement
Emergency Government – Establishing emergency plans for natural and man-made disasters and facilitates disaster recover operations.

Agricultural Agent – Crop production; fertilizer recommendations; information pertaining to dairy, animal waste, weed and insect control and other farm related farm problems.
Family Living Agent – Parenting strategies and child care; money management; food nutrition and safety.
4-H Youth Development Agent – Youth programs working with human development, community need or youth and careers.
