The Crawford County Land Conservation Committee held its annual Conservation Recognition Event, Thursday July 10th 6:00 p.m. at the Crawford County Fair, Gays Mills. Appearing werre state legislators, Senator Dan Kapanke and Assemblyman Lee Nerison. The Committee honored Al and Sheri Sime , Chad and Sarah Sime as the Conservation Farm Family – the Prairie Rod & Gun Club as the Conservation Educator – Richard & Margaret Hutter as the Water Quality Winner – William & Melissa Hendrickson as the Wildlilfe Habitat Winner - Byron & Susann Annis as the Forestry Award Winner - and Virgil Butteris as the Conservation Legacy Award Winner.
