Update 9/7/2012: The Crawford County Frac Sand Mining Study Committee has developed a "template" of a Non-Metallic Mining Licensing Ordinance and has distributed it to all municipalities in the county for their consideration. The local municipalities have the option to adopt the template as-is, make changes they feel better suit them, or opt to forgo any type of licensing ordinance.
